Things Aren’t Always What They Seem Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. - As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem."
The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel, "how could you have let this happen"?
"The first man had everything, yet you helped him", she accused. "The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die." "Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied.
"When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it."

What is Reiki ?
Reiki heals physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual issues. A Reiki Practitioner will position their hands on or over the body in various positions and locations to open blockages in the client’s energy field, including charkas & meridians.
An ancient healing modality, Reiki was rediscovered by a Japanese man named Mikao Usui in the mid 1800’s. Some believe that Reiki is the ‘hands on healing’ that Jesus used during his lifetime.
There are three levels of Reiki, but you only have to complete Level I in order to become a Reiki Practitioner. To become a Reiki Master/Teacher, all levels of Reiki must be completed.
Reiki Level I (Learn how to heal yourself & others)
Reiki Level II (Learn Reiki symbols & how to perform distance healing)
Reiki Level III (Master/Teacher training)
During a Reiki Session…
The Reiki Practitioner will ask the client to focus on their body and their breathing. The client may feel warmth, tingling, or nothing. Even if the client does not feel anything, Reiki healing is still occurring. During the session, the client may recall some memories; this is normal and expected. If the client chooses to share these memories, the Reiki Practitioner can assist with healing upsetting memories and related issues.
After a Reiki Session…
The client’s energy field, including charkas & meridians, is opened and balanced. The client usually feels a sense of well-being and peace. The client is encouraged to drink plenty of water, as well as get the sleep they need.
Reiki Level I class…
- learn how to heal yourself & others
- learn how to sense, receive & channel energy
- learn how to balance your energy (i.e. charkas, meridians, emotional/mental/spiritual bodies)
- receive a Reiki I attunement (which enables you to channel more energy)
- become a Reiki Level I Practioner (upon successful completion of this class)
Reiki Level II class…
- learn Reiki symbols and their uses
- learn how to perform distance healing
- receive a Reiki Level II attunement (which enables you to channel more energy)
- become a Reiki Level II Practioner (upon successful completion of this class)
Reiki Level III class…
- learn additional Reiki symbols and their uses
- learn how to perform Reiki attunements
- receive a Reiki Level III attunement (which enables you to channel more energy)
- become a Reiki Level III Master/Teacher (upon successful completion of this class)
